I graduated from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee with a 4 year degree in Communications, Marketing Minor. I am a Cooper Institute Certified Personal Trainer (CI-CPT), CPR/AED certified, and professionally insured. I am a fitness personal trainer in Memphis, TN. A majority of my life has been spent in the gym, and I have enjoyed exercising with many different types of people while growing up, including competitive body builders.
Helping people achieve their fitness goals is very important. The sooner one gets his or her results the better. Total body wellness becomes an important concept in today's society. Our general American population remains one of the most unfit/overweight and unhealthy populations in the world. A lot of this is due to people taking in too many calories daily and not doing any or enough exercise during the week (on a consistent basis) to burn off calories and keep the metabolism in over-drive from muscle tone and development. People don't often realize that just exercising 2-3 days per week consistantly is better than nothing and will get results; rather than worrying about breaking your back every day on the gym treadmill or trying some inhome video tape or gimmick on your own with little motivation. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends exercising atleast 3 days per week for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
